Chocolate cake
- 1 pkg Betty Crocker Super Moist Chocolate Cake Mix The more chocolately the better
- 1 pkg instant chocolate pudding
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp cayenne powder
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 3 eggs beaten

- 1 pkg instant chocolate pudding
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 pkg cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine all the chocolate cake ingredients except the eggs and mix with a hand blender for 5 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the eggs. Continue to mix on high for 3 minutes until batter is incorporated.
- Pour chocolate batter into a greased and floured a 9'x13' pan. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cake cool on a wire rack.
- Whisk the 2nd box of instant chocolate pudding powder with the milk in a bowl until it thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Cover and refrigerate.
- Whisk the heavy cream in a stand mixer until soft peaks form. Slowly add the powdered sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form. Add the softened cream cheese and mix until well incorporated.
- Cut the cake into 1 inch squares.
- To assemble the trifle: Use half of the cake cubes to cover the bottom of a clear trifle bowl. Top it with half of the chocolate pudding, half of the cherry pie filling, and half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat this process.
- Cover and chill for at least 6 hours before serving.
